Scentsy Spring Summer Transition has Begun

Transition officially starts this Wednesday, February 1, and will continue through the entire month of February. Good news: This year being leap year, you’ll get a full EXTRA day of transition discounts!

Every February we prepare to switch from the Fall/Winter Catalog season to the new Scentsy Spring/Summer Catalog season, which will begin March 1. During this transition period, we’ll release new testers, new catalogs, and the discontinued items list one month before the new items become available for purchase–we like to make sure Consultants are well prepared for the new season.

You can find the Discontinued Items flyer and the 10% Off Sale flyer posted as PDF files in both the “Catalog” link AND the “Monthly Promotions” link in the Resources tab of your Workstation. Please remind your teams and downlines that discontinued products will only be available while supplies last.

Double Half-Price Host Rewards for January

Please remind your teams and downlines that there is just one week remaining to take advantage of January’s double Half-Price Host Rewards on all party orders of $150 (USD) / $200 (CAD) or more. This is a great incentive for customers to host parties in January.The double Half-Price Host Rewards apply to all qualifying party orders, even those where a Consultant acts as Host. This offer does not apply to online shoppers who have purchased enough to qualify for Scentsy half-price items, and it does not include Host Credit. To qualify, orders must be placed and parties must be closed by 11:59 p.m. (PST) on January 31.

Transition Time begins February 1 !

At Scentsy, February is a transition month–the time we prepare to switch from the Fall/Winter 2011 Catalog season to the new Spring/Summer 2012 Catalog season, which begins March 1. During transition, we release new testers, new catalogs, and the discontinued item list one month before the new items become available for purchase to make sure Consultants are well prepared for the new season.

All system changes described below will take effect by 7:00 a.m. (PST) on Thursday, March 1. We ask Consultants not to contact Consultant Support with any transition issues until after this time. Splash pages will be placed on the Workstation and Personal Websites (PWS) from 12:00 a.m.-7:00 a.m. (PST) with the possibility of being removed prior to 7:00 a.m.

Here is a brief rundown of what you can expect in the weeks ahead:

Spring/Summer 2012 Catalogs

From February 1-29, the new Spring/Summer 2012 Scentsy Catalogs will be available to order at a 10% discount: $9.00 (USD) / $10.80 (CAD). The new catalogs now come in packs of 25 instead of the previous 50-pack. Stock up now!

Spring/Summer 2012 Catalog (Canada)–CA-BR-1225

The Spring/Summer 2012 Catalog will be available at the regular price after February 29: $10 (USD) / $12.00 (CAD).

A PDF file of the Spring/Summer 2012 Catalog will be posted to the “Catalog” link on the Resources tab on your Workstation on February 1, and on the Personal Websites (PWS) March 1.

Scentsy President, Heidi Thompson Featured on the Today Show

Scentsy President, Heidi Thompson appeared on the NBC TODAY Show Wednesday morning to announce a $2.5 million donation of Scentsy Buddies to the annual NBC toy drive. Scentsy donated 100,000 Buddies to five charities across the country, including the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc., Kids in Need Foundation, Gifts In Kind International and the Texas Head Start Association.

Alexis Mayo’s first foray into Scentsy wasn’t exactly easy. Her husband had to talk her into signing up because she didn’t want to “bug people.” She didn’t want to have parties, and she definitely didn’t want to recruit anyone. But her husband was persistent (telling her either she could sign herself up or he would do it for her), and she managed to throw her launch party.No one came. She could have quit right then, but instead chose to stick with it and overcome any roadblock in her way. Now, Alexis is one of Scentsy’s top sellers and a SuperStar Director. “My goal now is to help others turn their goals and dreams into reality, showing people that it really can happen for them. I love telling people my story and helping them to see the big picture, because I didn’t see it at the beginning.”

The key to her success is her ability to be herself, which is advice she gives anyone looking to do well with Scentsy. “Don’t compare yourself to anyone else. Be unique. Learn to love yourself! Be enthusiastic about the fact that you own your own business and people will be attracted to you and want to be a part of what you are doing.”
